Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Donnelly, the trainer of Clover Lad regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Clover Lad last raced on 23rd February 2018. Mr. Donelly stated that the greyhound was resuming racing from a right wrist injury.
Clover Lad was slow to begin.
Roger's In Town faltered soon after the start and tailed off. Tiempo Dinero and Jar Man collided approaching the first turn. Clover Lad and Tiempo Dinero collided on the first turn checking Clover Lad. Tiempo Dinero and Are You collided approaching the home turn.
Roger's In Town was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle. A stand down period of 60 days was imposed.
