Destiny's Child was vetted and re-vetted following event 2.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Stewards spoke to Mrs M. Campbell, the trainer of the greyhound Destiny's Child.  Stewards deemed the performance of Destiny's Child unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Destiny's Child must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Smoke Signals was a late scratching at 11.35am on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to right front oedema/swelling.   A  3 day stand down period was imposed.

House Of Luck, Rare Gem and Valar Morghulis were slow to begin.

Mt. View Gift, Habana City and Arctic Iggy collided soon after the strt checking Habana City.  Valar Morghulis crossed in on the first turn checking Mt. View Gift and Habana City.  Rare Gem and Ann Cherie collided on the first turn checking Ann Cherie.

Dex's Affair was vetted and re-vetted following event 7.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr J. Clay, the trainer of the greyhound Dex's Affair regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Dex's Affair with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Clay pleaded guilty to the charge, Dex's Affair was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Flash Apollo, Scott Dynamism and Kiss Me Putu were slow to begin.

Siver Lightning and Ebb collided approaching the first turn.  Scott Dynamism checked off Make It Happen on the first turn.  Scott Dynamism and Siver Lightning collided on the first turn severely checking Scott Dynamism.  Make It Happen and Ebb collided on the home turn checking Ebb and Invictus Lawless.  Ebb and Invictus Lawless collided entering the home straight.

Scott Dynamism was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind foot, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Pacific Dreamer was a late scratching at 11.35am on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to  left hock & metatarsal oedema/swelling. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

All About Arby was a late scratching at  3:12pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a tail injury. A3 day stand down period was imposed.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Constantinou , the trainer of Aussie Bok Choy regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Aussie Bok Choy last raced on 9 November 2017 and is returning from a change of owner and kennels. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Auusie Bok Choy trialled over the 400mtrs from box 1, weight 34.9kgs, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 22.86, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of  6 1/2 lengths.  Aussie Bok Choy was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Grice , the trainer of I'm Livin' It regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  I'm Livin' It last raced on 6 July 2017 and is returning from a back muscle injury and seasonal. Pursuant to GAR 77A, I'm Livin'It trialled over the 400mtrs from box 3, weight 25.5kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 22.86, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4 lengths.  I'm Livin' It was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Dream Gem trialled over the 400mtrs from box  8, weight 26.5kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 22.86, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 2 3/4 lengths.  Dream Gem was Cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results and Weight Trial -  Beljay Galaxy trialled over the 400mtrs from box 5, weight 31.6kgs, the greyhound did not finish (pulled up) in a field of 5.The time of the trial was 22.86. Beljay Galaxy was Not Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Bergamo trialled over the 400mtrs from box 2, weight 31.5kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 5.The time of the trial was 22.86, the greyhound won by a margin of 2 3/4 lengths. Bergamo was Cleared.
