Wolfie's Squeeze was quick to begin. Dark Stealth and Doc Meaney were slow to begin.
Destiny's Child and Boone collided soon after the start, Destiny's Child subsequently tailed off. Shady Thief, Boone and Virage De Kahn collided on the first turn checking Boone and Virage De Kahn. Dark Stealth and Doc Meaney collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Doc Meaney and Virage De Kahn collided approaching the home turn. Doc Meaney checked off Virage De Kahn approaching the home turn. Dark Stealth and Virage De Kahn collided in the home straight.
Destiny's Child was vetted and re-vetted following event 2. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards deemed the performance of Destiny's Child unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Destiny's Child must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
