Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms A.Powell, the trainer of Piccolo Panther regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Piccolo Panther last raced on 15 December, 2017. Ms Powell stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after being seasonal.
Due to a technical malfunction with the judging system the start time of this event was amended from 4:29pm to 5:17pm.
Piccolo Panther, Go Alice Go and Zenstar were quick to begin.
Proven Les and Billy Bart were slow to begin.
Sharp Missile and Clovally Mansumi collided soon after the start. Piccolo Panther, Winlock Casper and Sharp Missile collided approaching the first turn. Zenstar and Billy Bart collided on the first turn checking Billy Bart which brushed the running rail as a result.
