Stewards spoke to Ms A.Powell, the trainer of Piccolo Panther regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Piccolo Panther last raced on 15 December, 2017. Ms Powell stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after being seasonal.

Lock, the trainer of Borough Black regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Borough Black last raced on 8th September 2017. Mr. Lock stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from being on season and a spell. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Borough Black trialled over the 425mt from box 2, weight 27.3kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 6. The time of the trial was 24.10, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 14.5L. Borough Black was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Caulfield, the trainer of Proud Phoenix regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Proud Phoenix last raced on 6th September 2017. Mr. Caulfield stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from being on season and a spell. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Proud Phoenix trialled over the 425mt from box 5, weight 29.4kg, the greyhound was placed 6th in a field of 6. The time of the trial was 24.10, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 20.75L. Proud Phoenix was cleared.
