Due to a technical malfunction with the judging system the start time of this event was amended from 6:47pm to 7:36pm.
Cobber Victorem and Rancette collided soon after the start. Lochie's Mate, Nod Ya Head and Rancette collided approaching the first turn checking Rancette and Lochie's Mate. Rancette, Lochie's Mate and Why Not Grace collided on the first turn checking Rancette and Why Not Grace. Cobber Victorem and Blackjack Cruise collided approaching the home turn and again entering the home straight.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Mighty Boots trialled over the 425m from box 1, weight 32.7kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 6 starters. The time of the trial was 24.10, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 15.75L. Mighty Boots was not cleared.
