Steward's Report
Out of Competition samples were taken from Baby Huey, Warrion Warrior and Louie Lasagna, engaged in this event, on Friday 13th October 2017, pursuant to GAR 79A.
The start of this event was delayed due to holding for a Globe Derby Harness event to be completed.
Louie Lasagna, Dewana Express and Warrion Warrior collided soon after the start checking Dewana Express. Boil Over, Louie Lasagna and Waleonjon collided approaching the first turn checking Boil Over and severely checking Dewana Interest; Dewana Interest contacted the running rail, stumbled and lost considerable ground as a result. Dewana Express and Blue Reef collided on the first turn checking Blue Reef; Blue Reef collided with Dewana Interest as a result. Dewana Express and Boil Over collided approaching the third turn. Baby Huey and Waleonjon collided entering the home straight. Boil Over and Louie Lasagna collided in the home straight checking Boil Over.
Dewana Interest was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
A sample was taken from Waleonjon, the winner of the event.
