Shadale and Big Cold Burst were slow to begin.  Rockoon, Cheese Ya Later, Shadale and Duty Free collided on the first turn checking Shadale, Cheese Ya Later and Big Cold Burst.  Allen Mike clipped the heels of Bonnie Beauty entering the front straight.  Duty Free and Rockoon collided entering the front straight.  Duty Free checked off Dewana Special approaching the second turn. Bonnie Beauty lost ground through the second turn. Dewana Special checked off Bonnie Beauty on the second turn.  Shadale checked off Duty Free on the second turn and raced wide as a result.  Dewana Special galloped on the heels of Bonnie Beauty on the third turn.  Duty Free checked off Dewana Special on the third turn.  Rockoon, Bonnie Beauty and Cheese Ya Later collided approaching the fourth turn checking Bonnie Beauty and Cheese Ya Later.  Cheese Ya Later galloped on the heels of Bonnie Beauty on the fourth turn checking both greyhounds.

Bonnie Beauty was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left hamstring and partial tears to both its left and right triangle muscles.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Cheese Ya Later was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right hamstring.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
