Out of Competition urine samples were taken from Iona Express and Blackpool Alexis on Thursday 31st August 2017 pursuant to GAR 79A.
A pre race sample was taken from Blackpool Alexis.
Grandis was slow to begin. Freakish Flash crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Iona Express and Bugs Boloney. Iona Express and Gehring Bale collided on the first turn, and again approaching the home turn. Blackpool Alexis and Freakish Flash collided several times in the home straight. Gehring Bale checked off Grandis in the home straight. Iona Express checked off Blackpool Alexis approaching the winning post.
A sample was taken from West On Xandi - the winner of the event.
