Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr J Barbara, trainer of Lektra Timon regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Lektra Timon last raced on 9th May 2017. Mr Barbara stated that the greyhound is returing to racing after having a left foreleg toe removed.
A pre race sample was taken from Lektra Timon.
Campari Lad was slow to begin. Magic Reindeer and Campari Lad collided soon after the start. Suspicious Lee and Magic Reindeer collided soon after the start. Riverdale Sugar, Marlow's Angel and Lektra Timon collided approaching the first turn, checking Marlow's Angel, which lost ground as a result. Marlow's Angel checked off Campari Lad on the home turn, checking Suspicious Lee. Big End and Lektra Timon collided in the home straight.
