Steward's Report
Adala Prince was slow to begin. Hide The Wallet crossed to the outside soon after the start, severely checking Daintree Teacake and Oliver Cruise. Adala Prince, Auburn Gal and Lido's Boy collided several times from the 300m mark to the 250m mark. Adala Prince eased approaching the winning post. Adala Prince and Hide The Wallet collided approaching the winning post.
Adala Prince was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right monkey muscle. A five day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr P Ryan, the trainer of Adala Prince following the event. Mr Ryan stated that the greyhound was having his first race start since August and will benefit from today's run after tiring over the concluding stages. Stewards noted the explanation and taking into account the injury sustained, Mr Ryan was issued with a warning regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.
