Stewards spoke to Mr M. Collyer, the trainer of Obama Flyer regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Obama Flyer last raced on the 2nd of May, 2017 and is returning from a spell. Pursuant to GAR 39(2), Mr. Collyer delared a new weight of 32.9kgs for the greyhound. Obama Flyer last raced at 31.2kgs.
Krazy Blaze crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Here's Tiger, Obama Flyer and Longshot Glory. Scooby Boy and Longshot Glory collided at the 200m mark.
Here's Tiger was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
