Killara John was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the toe on the left fore foot, a five day stand down period was imposed. 

Rayjan Eddy was slow to begin. Rhiannon Royale crossed to the inside soon after the start, checking Rayjan Eddy. Our Rocket checked off Hartley Steph soon after the start. Hartley Steph and Wolfie's Sook collided approaching the 250m mark. Ginny Allen crossed to the outside at the 200m mark, checking Rhiannon Royale and Hartley Steph, severely checking Ginny Allen. Our Rocket galloped on the heels of Big Tilly at the 200m mark. Rayjan Eddy eased approaching the winning post. Rhiannon Royale faltered approaching the winning post.

Rayjan Eddy was vetted and revetted following event four. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Meyer, the trainer of the greyhound Rayjan Eddy regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Rayjan Eddy with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Meyer pleaded guilty to the charge, Rayjan Eddy was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Billy Swagger. 

Billy Swagger, Freddie Rawson and Baggy's Request were slow to begin. How Good She, Nick and Roberts collided soon after the start. Freddie Rawson and Baggy's Request collided soon after the start. Bob Carringbush and Fawntastic Kate collided approaching the 300m mark. Baggy's Request checked off Freddie Rawson at the 300m mark. Bob Carringbush, Fawntastic Kate, Billy Swagger, How Good She, Nick and Roberts collided at the 300m mark. Bob Carringbush, Billy Swagger and Nick collided at the 200m mark. Stewards spoke to Mr P Ryan, the trainer of Adala Prince following the event. Mr Ryan stated that the greyhound was having his first race start since August and will benefit from today's run after tiring over the concluding stages. Stewards noted the explanation and taking into account the injury sustained, Mr Ryan was issued with a warning regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.

Superior Scotch, Miss Premier and Select Tim were slow to begin. Surfside Squids and Miss Premier collided soon after the start. Jupiter Asending and Tyson Trump collided soon after the start. Surfside Squids and Miss Premier collided approaching the 250m mark. Jupiter Asending crossed to the outside at the 250m mark, checking Select Tim and severely checking Weiss Allen. Jupiter Asending raced wide from the 250m mark to the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr M. Collyer, the trainer of Obama Flyer regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Obama Flyer last raced on the 2nd of May, 2017 and is returning from a spell. Pursuant to GAR 39(2), Mr. Collyer delared a new weight of 32.9kgs for the greyhound. Obama Flyer last raced at 31.2kgs. 

Krazy Blaze crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Here's Tiger, Obama Flyer and Longshot Glory. Scooby Boy and Longshot Glory collided at the 200m mark. 

Here's Tiger was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr K Stephens, the trainer of Beer On Tap regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Beer On Tap last raced on the 2nd of August, 2017 and is returning to racing following an injury to the left back muscle.

Daintree Dynamo was quick to begin. Woolly Warbo was slow to begin. Okay Penny and Still Just Under collided at the 250m mark. Woolly Warbo faltered and tailed off at the 200m mark. Okay Penny and Still Just Under collided at the 150m mark. 

Woolly Warbo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle, a 60 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr M Williams was advised that he must seek follow up veterinary treatment for the greyhound within three days, as advised by the on course veterinarian. 

Stewards spoke to Mr N. Carthew, the trainer of Miss Just Under regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Miss Just Under last raced on the 22nd of May, 2017 and is returning from a right back muscle injury. Pursuant to GAR 39(2), Mr Carthew delared a new weight of 26.1kgs for the greyhound. Miss Just Under last raced at 24.2kgs.  

Mr A. Oakley, trainer of Shezza's Nitro declared a new weight of 26.1kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Shezz'a Nitro last raced at 24.2kgs.

A pre-race sample was taken from Nangar Tiger. 

Nangar Tiger crossed to the outside soon after the start and collided with Little Mix. Shezza's Nitro and Selynya Kev collided at the 250m mark. Selynya Kev checked off Nangar Tiger at the 200m mark, checking Little Mix. Selynya Kev and Miss Just Under collided at the 150m mark.
