Steward's Report
Another Hope was a late scratching at 11:56am due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Mr J. Carr, trainer of Celtic Charm declared a new weight of 32.4kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Celtic Charm last raced at 33.7kgs.
A pre-race sample was taken from Daintree Dynamo.
Daintree Dynamo was quick to begin. Woolly Warbo was slow to begin. Okay Penny and Still Just Under collided at the 250m mark. Woolly Warbo faltered and tailed off at the 200m mark. Okay Penny and Still Just Under collided at the 150m mark.
Woolly Warbo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle, a 60 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr M Williams was advised that he must seek follow up veterinary treatment for the greyhound within three days, as advised by the on course veterinarian.
