Steward's Report
Duke Of Dallas was a late scratching at 7:56AM due to injury (soreness) (GAR 23). A ten-day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Stewards spoke to Mr Gary Brett, the trainer of Fiery Nell, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Fiery Nell last raced at Healesville on 4 August, 2017 and is returning after a spell.
A pre-race sample was taken from Gunmetal Diva.
Kayla Las and Donkey Tron collided at the 200m mark. Hugh Made Who checked off Nangar Tiger at the 200m mark. We Froff Dat and Fiery Nell collided approaching the 150m mark, checking Fiery Nell and Donkey Tron. Gunmetal Diva and Nangar Tiger collided at the 100m mark.
MEETING COMMENTS
Satisfactory Trial Results - Octo Flash trialled over the 350m from box one, weight 27.3kg, the greyhound was placed third in a field of four. The time of the trial was 19.70, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 5L. Octo Flash was cleared.
