Hello Mr Duck, Orlando Cruise, Cordillo and Cullquin Panda were slow to begin.
Porscha's Girl and Royal Welsh collided at the 300m mark. Cordillo checked off Cullquin Panda at the 280m mark. Orlando Cruise raced wide at the 250m mark, checking Cordillo. Cullquin Panda crossed to the rail at the 250m mark. Porscha's Girl and Royal Welsh collided at the 200m mark and again at the 150m mark. Super Serena and Latissimus Dorsi collided at the 100m mark. Porscha's Girl and Royal Welsh collided approaching the winning post, checking Royal Welsh.
Super Serena was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right pectoral (chest) muscle. A 14-day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr Garry Selkrig, the trainer of Super Serena, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at the 100m mark.
