Merinda Ollie and Game Spirit collided soon after the start checking Merinda Ollie. Merinda Ollie clipped the heels of Face To Face on the home turn. Von Schnitzel, Split Chic and Face To Face collided on the first turn severely checking Face To Face which collided with and severely checked Merinda Ollie. Split Chic and Flying Mia collided entering the back straight checking Split Chic. Blue Marmion and Flying Mia collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Split Chic raced wide in the home straight.
Merinda Ollie was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
