Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Rival Scar.
Trademark Bliss and Drogma were quick to begin. Shake was slow to begin. Buca Doll and Trademark Bliss collided on the first turn checking Trademark Bliss, Bombastic Tim, Scott Pizzazz and Miss Shieka. Trademark Bliss checked off Miss Shieka approaching the second turn. Shake and Rival Scar collided on the second turn checking Rival Scar. Miss Shieka checked off Rival Scar approaching the home turn.
A sample was taken from Shake, winner of the event.
Meeting Comments:
Track Curator Mr M.Pell advised stewards that the track was lightly harrowed on 25th June, 2017.
Satisfactory Trial Results - Inga Ted trialled over the 425m from box 1, weight 33.4kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4 starters. The time of the trial was 24.61, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1.5L. Inga Ted was cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mrs. P. Patterson , the trainer of Quicksiler Hope regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Quicksilver Hope last raced on 28th November 2016. Mrs. Patterson stated that the greyhound was returning from a spell and being on season. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Quicksilver Hope trialled over the 425mts from box 5, weight 24.4kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.61, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1.75L. Quicksilver Hope was cleared.
