Lilly An' Page was a late scratching at 1.35pm due to a laceration to a right hind toe nail.(GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr J.Lenehan, trainer of Lektra Uncut regarding the length of time the greyhound had between races. Lektra Uncut last raced on 26 February 2017. Mr Lenehan stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a change of kennel.

Tally Ho Billy and Lektra Uncut collided soon after the start. Zipping Inglis and Aston Dinnigan collided soon after the start. Tally Ho Billy and Aston Dinnigan collided on the first turn, checking Aston Dinnigan. Tally Ho Billy checked off Kwazii on the first turn, checking Lektra Uncut. Number 5 appeared on the semaphore board as the winner of the event, before being corrected by the Judge. The correct numbers 8, 5, 7 and 1 were then semphored and the all clear was notified. 

Steward’s issued a warning to Mr. M. Lanigan, trainer of Zipping Inglis, regarding his tardiness in boxing the greyhound.

Greysynd Ash and Arolok Lil' Gal were quick to begin. Al's Luck was slow to begin. Canya Ayden and Stormy Seas collided soon after the start. Al's Luck and Kalani Wilson collided approaching the first turn. Greysynd Ash checked off Solitary Girl approaching the home turn. Canya Ayden and Solitary Girl collided approaching the home turn, checking Solitary Girl, Kalani Wilson and Stormy Seas. Al's Luck raced wide on the home turn. Canya Ayden was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left pencil muscle and a spike wound to the left wrist, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. J. Magri, the handler of Canya Ayden regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn. 

Stewards spoke to Ms D.Carr trainer of Secret Number regarding the length of time the greyhound had between races. Secret Number  last raced on 14 February 2017. Ms Carr stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a left fibula injury.

Exit Strategy, Pillar Creek, Tiger Bite Turbo and Jockey Bale collided soon after the start, checking Meila Allen and Pillar Creek. Tiger Bite Turbo crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking James Beat Fed and Secret Number. Exit Strategy and Jockey Bale collided on the home turn. Catsford Allan and Jockey Bale collided in the home straight, checking Exit Strategy and Catsford Allan. 

Catsford Allan which tired over the concluding stages, was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

In The Net, Vectis Seyarda and Tally Ho Jack collided soon after the start, checking Vectis Seyarda. Sutre Sizzler, Brae's Bullet and Ma Ma Keogh collided approaching the first turn, checking Brae's Bullet. In The Net, Kalara and Brae's Bullet collided on the first turn. Ma Ma Keogh, Tally Ho Jack and Ha Ha Gotcha collided on the first turn, checking In The Net. Kalara raced wide on the home turn.
