Greysynd Ash and Arolok Lil' Gal were quick to begin. Al's Luck was slow to begin. Canya Ayden and Stormy Seas collided soon after the start. Al's Luck and Kalani Wilson collided approaching the first turn. Greysynd Ash checked off Solitary Girl approaching the home turn. Canya Ayden and Solitary Girl collided approaching the home turn, checking Solitary Girl, Kalani Wilson and Stormy Seas. Al's Luck raced wide on the home turn. Stormy Seas raced wide on the home turn. Al's Luck checked off Talanjee Lou entering the home straight.
Canya Ayden was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left pencil muscle and a spike wound to the left wrist, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr. J. Magri, the handler of Canya Ayden regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.
