A pre race sample was taken from Joe's Dolly.
Time Bandit and Moto Girl were quick to begin. Champagne Chaser was slow to begin. Corroboree and Champagne Chaser collided on the first turn checking Champagne Chaser. Time Bandit, Joe's Dolly, In The Net and Temujin collided on the first turn checking In The Net. Corroboree checked off Champagne Chaser approaching the home turn. Joe's Dolly, Temujin and In The Net collided approaching the home turn checking Champagne Chaser which fell.
Champagne Chaser was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound was found to have shoulder soreness and multiple small cuts/abrasions and bruises on forelimbs/toes, a 14 day stand down perioid was imposed.
