Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Lakeview Lyn.
Little Fonzie and Simply Mystic were slow to begin. Little Fonzie, Simply Mystic, Tiger Rance and Cookie Rose collided on the first turn checking Little Fonzie, Cookie Rose and Tiger Rance. Tiger Rance veered our and marred the running of Little Fonzie in the home straight.
Tiger Rance was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left triangle muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. D. Johnston, the trainer of Tiger Rance regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Tiger Rance with marring. Mrs. Johnston pleaded guilty to the charge, Tiger Rance was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
