Killa Dollars and Daisy Patch were quick to begin.  Blastoise was slow to begin.  Mrs. Jawa,  Zipping Moore and Dashin Dayz collided soon after the start checking Zipping Moore.  Sala Bale crossed to the rail soon after the start checking It's Upta You.  Mrs. Jawa and Killa Dollars collided on the first turn checking Mrs. Jawa.  Daisy Patch and Sala Bale collided approaching the home turn.  Blastoise eased on the home turn and collided with Sala Bale

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Creighton, the representative of the greyhound Blastoise regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn.  Blastoise was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left front toe and an abrasion to the left toe, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Blastoise with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Creighton pleaded guilty to the charge, Blastoise was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Five Lights was quick to begin.  Toby Sure, Xander Bale and Upta Ya Mate were slow to begin.  Colonel was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Quick Dollars, Psy Goanna and Toby Sure collided on the first turn checking Quick Dollars and Psy Goanna.  Toby Sure checked off Upta Ya Mate approaching the home turn.

Rasleigh Banser was a late scratching at 4.11pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer,  Mr.  W. Stevens was fined the sum of $100.

Trew Danger and Another Shiner were slow to begin.  Undercover Viv, Shotgun Dollars and Trey Bit collided approaching the first turn checking Shotgun Dollars.  Shotgun Dollars checked off Trey Bit on the first turn checking Another Shiner, Ezy Dollars and Trew Danger.  Shotgun Dollars raced wide on the home turn.

Boom Flash and Parie Shiraz were slow to begin.  Rickett's Point, Salegrey Wy Yung and Jetyra Eruption collided soon after the start checking Salegrey Wy Yung.  Weiss Allen, Jebrynah Roma and Boom Flash collided on the first turn severely checking Jebrynah Roma which lost considerable ground.  Jetyra Eruption checked off  Salegrey Wy Yung entering the home straight.

Jebrynah Roma was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Our Gal Livy and Fancy Minter were slow to begin.  Our Bravo Rose, Wild Hunny and Our Gal Livy collided approaching the first turn checking Our Gal Livy.  Mac, Kisseemee, Our Bravo Rose and Star Of Anand collided in the back straight checking Kisseemee.  Kisseemee and Fancy Minter collided approaching the home turn severely checking both greyhounds.

Little Fonzie and Simply Mystic were slow to begin.  Little Fonzie, Simply Mystic, Tiger Rance and Cookie Rose collided on the first turn checking Little Fonzie, Cookie Rose and Tiger Rance.  Tiger Rance veered our and marred the running of Little Fonzie in the home straight.

Tiger Rance was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left triangle muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Johnston, the trainer of Tiger Rance regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Tiger Rance with marring.  Mrs. Johnston pleaded guilty to the charge, Tiger Rance was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Shy Freddie was a late scratching at 4:10pm  on Veterinary advice (GAR 37)(fleas).  No stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Dr. Gammiris was slow to begin.  Happy Hamish, Little Jebrynah and Mister Heeney collided on the first turn.  Happy Hamish and Mister Heeney collided in the back straight.  Zipping Kirby veered out and marred the running of Wadelock Venus on the second turn severely checking Happy Hamish.  Zipping Kirby marred the running of Happy Hamish approaching the home turn and again on the home turn severely checking both greyhounds.

Zipping Kirby was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Pattinson, the trainer of the greyhound Zipping Kirby regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the second turn.  Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Zipping Kirby with marring.  Mr. Pattinson pleaded guilty to the charge.  Zipping Kirby was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Lektra Damage was a late scratching at 7:04pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to a laceration on the left hind.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Champagne Chaser was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound was found to have shoulder soreness and multiple small cuts/abrasions and bruises on forelimbs/toes, a 14 day stand down perioid was imposed.

Rusta, Elite Shiraz and Omega Vera collided soon after the start.  Wadelock Mindy checked off Taabinga Lady on the first turn.  Rusta and Sonny's Honey collided entering the back straight checking Elite Shiraz and Canadash.  Omega Vera checked off Taabinga Lady approaching the home turn.

Two Point Two was slow to begin.  Mandela Sun, Mini Load, Goorawin aand Rip Van Winkle collided soon after the start checking Goorawin.  Rip Van Winkle and Cruella Deville collided approaching the first turn severely checking Cruella Deville.  Rip Van Winkle and Cruella Deville collided on the first turn checking Rip Van Winkle; Rip Van Winkle contacted the running rail as a result.

Rip Van Winkle was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left paw and small abrasions down the left hind leg and right hind leg, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Zipping Maisy was slow to begin.  Paua Hiking and Magic Myer collided approaching the first turn.  Crash Zone and Paua Hiking collided on the first turn checking Zipping Maisy and Richo Richo Girl.  Price Tag crossed in on the first turn checking Paua Hiking and severely checking Any Other Union.
