Steward's Report
Killa Dollars and Daisy Patch were quick to begin. Blastoise was slow to begin. Mrs. Jawa, Zipping Moore and Dashin Dayz collided soon after the start checking Zipping Moore. Sala Bale crossed to the rail soon after the start checking It's Upta You. Mrs. Jawa and Killa Dollars collided on the first turn checking Mrs. Jawa. Daisy Patch and Sala Bale collided approaching the home turn. Blastoise eased on the home turn and collided with Sala Bale
Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Creighton, the representative of the greyhound Blastoise regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn. Blastoise was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left front toe and an abrasion to the left toe, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Blastoise with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Creighton pleaded guilty to the charge, Blastoise was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
