Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. N. Tait, the trainer of Claretown Happy regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Claretown Happy last raced on 10th October 2016. Mr. Tait stated that the greyhound was returning to race after being on season.
A pre-race sample was taken from Still Just Under.
Highfield Bambo was slow to begin. Storm Of All and Spring Top collided soon after the start. Storm Of All checked off Still Just Under at the 250 metre mark. Still Just Under checked off Boston You Essay at the 200 metre mark. Highfield Bambo, Storm Of All and Jack's Lass collided at the 50 metre mark checking Storm Of All and severely checking Highfield Bambo.
Highfield Bambo was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
