Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms. V. Watson, the trainer of Sharks Glory regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Sharks Glory last raced on 19th September 2016. Ms. Watson stated that the greyhound was returning to race after being new to her kennel.
Alouette Josie, Harry's Hammer and Sharks Glory were slow to begin. Harry's Hammer checked off Face To Face at the 250 metre mark. Highfield Socks checked off Burra Flight at the 200 metre mark. Burra Flight and Harry's Hammer collided at the 200 metre mark. Highfield Socks and Alouette Josie collided at the 150 metre mark checking Alouette Josie.
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Face To Face, the winner of the event. A post race sample was subsequently taken
