Spoil The Party and Boloney Club were slow to begin. Boloney Club crossed to the outside approaching the 250 metre mark. Iron Side checked of Boloney Club approaching the 200 metre mark.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. G. Ennis regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Benson. Stewards directed that Benson be boxed first in future events.
