He Shall Peter went up with the lids at box rise and lost considerable ground as a result. Chain Of Fire was slow to begin. Crump's Beauty and Gold Bombardier collided soon after the start. Grand Maximus, Aston Gisle and Billy's Bake collided soon after the start checking Aston Gisle. Grand Maximus and Billy's Bake collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Grand Maximus, Aston Gisle and Billy's Bake collided on the second turn checking Grand Maximus. He Shall Peter raced wide on the second turn. Crump's Beauty and Gold Bombardier collided on the home turn.
Grand Maximus was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
