Brousko was a late scratching at 12:58 due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. P Leondaris was fined the sum of $100.

Latifi Nick Nack was quick to begin. Draculette, Charman and Goldenpaw Glory collided approaching the first turn, checking Charman, Goldenpaw Glory and Zipping Luna. Spazzy Blue was vetted and revetted following event five. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the right triangle muscle, no stand down period was imposed. 

Fab Dream was quick to begin. Moonlit Eyes and Ride Ain't Over were slow to begin. Chinese Whisper and Boda Boda collided approaching the first turn. Daintree Jim eased and checked off Chinese Whisper on the second turn. Boda Boda clipped the heels of Shy Freddie on the first turn. Moonlit Eyes raced wide in the back straight. Moonlit Eyes checked off Cosmic Tilly approaching the home turn and raced wide. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Matthews, the trainer of the greyhound Daintree Jim regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the second turn.  Daintree Jim was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a mild soreness to the right triangle muscle, a three day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Daintree Jim with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Matthews pleaded guilty to the charge, Daintree Jim was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Fanta Bale, Aston Gisle and Miss Morrisset were quick to begin. Lagoon Jazzy, Bel Air Mist, Hae Allen and Flying Cash collided soon after the start, checking Flying Cash and Hae Allen. Lagoon Jazzy, Aston Gisle and Miss Morrisset collided on the first turn, severely checking Aston Gisle and Miss Morrisset. Lagoon Jazzy checked off Bel Air Mist on the second turn. Billiluna and Bel Air Mist collided approaching the third turn. Lagoon Jazzy checked off Flying Cash on the third turn. Hae Allen marred the running of Bel Air Mist on the home turn, checking Hae Allen, Bel Air Mist and Aston Gisle.

Stewards noted that the muzzle of Hae Allen became dislodged during the running of this event. 

Hae Allen was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Shillington, the handler of the greyhound Hae Allen regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Hae Allen with marring.  Mr. Shillington pleaded not guilty to the charge, Hae Allen was found guilty and suspended the greyhound for 3 months (all tracks) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Bee Rose, Go Good Riddance and Pippy Dippy were slow to begin. Zipping Tina and Leprechaun Storm collided soon after the start. Bee Rose and Rock Away collided approaching the first turn, checking Rock Away. Bee Rose and Leprechaun Storm collided on the first turn, checking Leprechaun Storm. Rock Away, Pippy Dippy, and Go Good Riddance collided on the first turn, checking Rock Away and Pippy Dippy, and severely checking Go Good Riddance. Kiranna was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the right hind toe.  No stand down period was imposed.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Stunning Success trialled over the 515m from box 1, weight 27.1kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of four starters. The time of the trial was 29.48, the greyhound won by a margin of 9 lengths. Stunning Success was cleared.
