Steward's Report
Dr. Melezar was a late scratching at 6.38AM due to injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Cavalcade and Cosmic Odette were slow to begin. Crimson Sally, Jacqui Blax and Spring Rain collided approaching the first turn, checking Spring Rain and Crimson Sally. Jacqui Blax checked off Flyrite and collided with Audacious Angel on the first turn, checking Audacious Angel, Cavalcade and Cosmic Odette. Crimson Sally and Spring Rain collided on the first turn, severely checking Spring Rain, which raced wide as a result. Audacious Angel and Cavalcade collided approaching the second turn and again in the back straight, checking Audacious Angel. Flyrite and Cosmic Odette collided on the home turn and in the home straight.
