Looking Magical was a late scratching at 2:55pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to an injury to it's right eye.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Super Spanner was quick to begin.  Consols, Audatious, Why Not James and Walkaway Again collided soon after the start.  Modern Silk, Burning Halo and Consols collided approaching the first turn.  Why Not James faltered on the first turn and tailed off as a result.  Burning Halo and Walkaway Again collided approaching the home turn.

Super Spanner was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's right hip.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
