Steward's Report
Zipping Noel was quick to begin. Velocity Alice, Chappy, Derby Ghost and Mepunga Sammy were slow to begin. Zipping Noel, Nork, Vasile Boy and Hook Him In collided on the first turn checking Nork, Vasile Boy and Hook Him In. Derby Ghost and Mepunga Sammy raced wide in the back straight. Chappy and Vasile Boy collided on the second turn severely checking Vasile Boy. Chappy and Mepunga Sammy collided on the home turn.
Vasile Boy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right thigh. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
