Ultimate Jet checked off Dark Tantra approaching the first turn. Daisy Bale and Maximum Melva collided on the first turn checking Mewstone Rocket. Nawala Barko and Uno Frankie collided approaching the home turn.
Stewards spoke to Mr. S Collyer regarding his failure in catching the greyhound Ripped. After hearing evidence from Mr. W Kirk, the trainer stewards charged Mr. Collyer with a breach of 86(o). Mr. Collyer pleaded guilty to the charge and was found guilty, Mr. Collyer was fined the sum of $100.00.
