Steward's Report
Eumeralla Flash was slow to begin. Smokester and Crackerjack Hano collided soon after the start, checking Crackerjack Hano. Shahadollar and Monster Deeds collided soon after the start, checking Shahadollar. Coursing Bale and Krazy Kanga collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Coursing Bale, Krazy Kanga and Monster Deeds collided approaching the home turn, checking Monster Deeds, Smokester, Eumeralla Flash and Krazy Kanga. Smokester and Eumeralla Flash collided approaching the home turn, checking Shahadollar and severely checking Smokester and Eumeralla Flash. Krazy Kanga contacted the running rail approaching the home turn. Monster Deeds and Zelemar Zing collided approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Smokester and Eumeralla Flash collided in the home straight.
Smokester was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right wrist and a spike wound to the left back paw, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
