New Club Crawf was slow to begin. New Club Crawf and Sub Zero Magic collided approaching the first turn, checking New Club Crawf. Silver Wood , Cosmic Lacey, Tear Away Babe and Sub Zero Magic collided on the first turn, checking Silver Wood. New Club Crawf raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.
Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Mitchell regarding his failure to catch the greyhound Lektra Blicaves and was reminded of his responsibilities.
