Track Curator Mr. H Brodie advised stewards that the track was harrowed on Monday 5th October. 

Kokoda Eclipse, Chivalry and Princess Strike were slow to begin. Destinee Saint and Chivalry collided soon after the start. Ma Ma Keogh and Dark Obsession collided soon after the start. Princess Strike and Chivalry collided on the first turn, checking Ma Ma Keogh. Kokoda Storm and Dark Obsession collided on the first turn, checking Kokoda Storm. Kokoda Eclipse and Chivalry collided several times from the first turn to the second turn, severely checking Kokoda Eclipse. Princess Strike eased approaching the third turn and lost considerable ground. Princess Strike, Chivalry and Destinee Saint collided approaching the home turn.

Princess Strike was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle and a spike wound to the right front paw, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

A sample was taken from Dark Obsession - the winner of the event. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Russell, the trainer of the greyhound Princess Strike regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the third turn.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Princess Strike with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Russell pleaded guilty to the charge, Princess Strike was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warrnambool and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Let's Run was a late scratching at 9.35am due to illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand downperiod was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Tally Ho Betty, Eumeralla Magic, Saint Elite and Jay Jackaroo were slow to begin. Eumeralla Magic and Saint Elite collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn, checking Eumeralla Magic. Tally Ho Betty, Kirsty's Me Mum and Little Hemi collided on the first turn, checking Kirsty's Me Mum and Little Hemi. Automatic and Jay Jackaroo collided approaching the home turn. Kirsty's Me Mum checked off Little Hemi on the home turn. Jay Jackaroo raced wide in the home straight. 

An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Cheryl's Boy engaged in this event on Tuesday 6 October 2015 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Tally Ho Lass, Arolok Hobo, Cheryl's Boy and Fill It Again were slow to begin. Arolok Hobo and Cheryl's Boy collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Arolok Hobo galloped on the heels of Tally Ho Lass approaching the home turn. Arolok Hobo and Cheryl's Boy collided approaching the home turn, checking Cheryl's Boy. Fill It Again faltered in the home straight and tailed off. 

Fill It Again was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both chest muscles, both back muscles and both pencil muscles, a 21 day stand down period was imposed. 

Eily West and Farce Allen were quick to begin. Yessa began awkwardly and was slow to begin. Eily West and Farce Allen collided soon after the start. Tally Ho Billy and Eighteen Two collided soon after the start, checking Eighteen Two. Tally Ho Billy and Eily West collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Tally Ho Billy and Eily West collided approaching the home turn, checking Snow Boots. Tally Ho Billy and Snow Boots collided approaching the home turn, checking Tally Ho Billy which raced wide as a result. Tally Ho Billy and Yessa raced wide in the home straight.

An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Ginger Warrior engaged in this event on Tuesday 6 October 2015 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Keane, the trainer of Mighty Sam regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Mighty Sam last raced on 21st June 2015. Mr. Keane stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after having a rib removed. 

Tear Away Moon stumbled at box rise and was very slow to begin (3 Lengths). Maximum Strike, Ginger Warrior, Walk On By and Totes Amazeballs collided soon after the start, checking Ginger Warrior and Walk On By. Cowboy Love and Saint Magic collided approaching the first turn. Totes Amazeballs checked off Ginger Warrior on the first turn. Maximum Strike and Walk On By collided approaching the home turn, checking Maximum Strike. Mighty Sam and Saint Magic collided approaching the home turn, checking Saint Magic. Maximum Strike checked off Tear Away Moon approaching the home turn. Tear Away Moon, Saint Magic and Walk On By collided approaching the home turn, checking Saint Magic and Walk On By, and checking Ginger Warrior which raced wide. Maximum Strike checked off Walk On By on the home turn. Totes Amazeballs and Tear Away Moon collided on the home turn, checking Totes Amazeballs.

Bungaloo Diva was vetted and after being re-vetted following event nine, it was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both pencil muscles and both back muscles, and a spike wound to the right back paw, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

All Over was quick to begin. Peregrin Stealth and Agility collided soon after the start, checking Agility. Agility and Dee Tee collided approaching the first turn. New Club Crawf was slow to begin. New Club Crawf and Sub Zero Magic collided approaching the first turn, checking New Club Crawf. Silver Wood , Cosmic Lacey, Tear Away Babe and Sub Zero Magic collided on the first turn, checking Silver Wood. New Club Crawf raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Mitchell regarding his failure to catch the greyhound Lektra Blicaves and was reminded of his responsibilities.

Lil Arthur and Sparcia collided soon after the start. Inventor and Samus Allen collided approaching the first turn, checking Samus Allen. El Bee Cee and Iona Lucky Seven collided on the first turn, checking El Bee Cee. El Bee Cee, Lil Arthur, Sparcia and Samus Allen collided approaching the home turn, severely checking Samus Allen. Iona Lucky Seven and Inventor collided approaching the home turn, checking Iona Lucky Seven. Lil Arthur and Sparcia collided approaching the home turn, checking Sparcia. Sparcia turned its head inwards in the home straight and collided with Iona Lucky Seven.

Lund, the trainer of the greyhound Sparcia regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Sparcia was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both pencil muscles, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Sparcia with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Ms. Lund pleaded not guilty to the charge, Sparcia was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Shahadollar and Monster Deeds collided soon after the start, checking Shahadollar. Coursing Bale and Krazy Kanga collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Coursing Bale, Krazy Kanga and Monster Deeds collided approaching the home turn, checking Monster Deeds, Smokester, Eumeralla Flash and Krazy Kanga. Smokester and Eumeralla Flash collided approaching the home turn, checking Shahadollar and severely checking Smokester and Eumeralla Flash. Krazy Kanga contacted the running rail approaching the home turn. Monster Deeds and Zelemar Zing collided approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Smokester and Eumeralla Flash collided in the home straight. 

Smokester was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right wrist and a spike wound to the left back paw, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
