Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from What A Spirit.
Crackerjack Maxy – Underwent a veterinary examination at the starting boxes and was a late scratching at 11:34am on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92). As a result, this event was delayed by approximately 6 minutes. Crackerjack Maxy underwent a subsequent veterinary examination and was found to have Mucohemorrhagic diarrhoea and an elevated temperature. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Further, Stewards require a veterinary certificate of fitness to be produced before any further nominations are accepted for Crackerjack Maxy, in accordance with GAR19(3)(w).
Olivia Express underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a split webbing on the right hind paw. No Stand down period was imposed.
