Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Drohan, the trainer of Just Wing It regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Just Wing It last raced on 1st June 2016 and is returning to race after having water diabetes.
A pre-race sample was taken from Roman Blue Jay.
Magic Rusty was quick to begin. Roman Blye Jay was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Just Wing It galloped on the heels of Miss Who approaching the first turn checking Roman Blue Jay and White Escargot and severely checking Just Wing It, Miss Who, Bless 'Em All and Glen Mika. Roman Blue Jay and Bless 'Em All collided in the home straight.
Roman Blue Jay was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to its right front pad. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
