Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was obtained from Dessie Walnut upon arrival on course, prior to kennelling.
Dr. Toretto was a late scratching at 4.55pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. W. McMahon was fined the sum of $100.
A pre-race sample was taken from Aston Regas.
Aston Regas was quick to begin. All About Arby and Shanks Very Much collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Call Me Boz and Top Sprite collided in the back straight checking Call Me Boz. Call Me Boz and Cookie Rose collided on the second turn. Shanks Very Much was checked off Call Me Boz entering the home straight.
