A pre-race sample was taken from Daintree King.
Space Emm was quick to begin. Daintree King was slow to begin. Rozehill Beth crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Rozehill Beth and Tilly Court. Tilly Court and Rozehill Beth collided approaching the second turn. Corless and Albert's Patch collided entering the home straight. Daintree King and Space Emm collided approaching the winning post.
Rozehill Beth was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
