Bambalam Emma was quick to begin. Sisco Bizzy, Janray Eagle Eye, Zakarri, Jetmag Sally and Rangiora collided soon after the start checking Parvati Patil, Sisco Bizzy, Janray Eagle Eye, Zakarri and Jetmag Sally. Janray Eagle Eye contacted the running rail approaching the first turn. Parvati Patil, Sisco Bizzy, Zakarri and Jetmag Sally collided on the first turn checking Zakarri and severely checking Parvati Patil, Sisco Bizzy, Janray Eagle Eye and Jetmag Sally; Parvati Patil, Sisco Bizzy, Janray Eagle Eye and Jetmag Sally tailed off as a result. Bambalam Emma, Razzle Oak and Rangiora collided in the home straight checking Rangiora. Parvati Patil and Jetmag Sally collided several times in the home straight. Razzle Oak and Rangiora collided approaching the winning post checking Rangiora.
