Jankovic was slow to begin.  Witch's Pick, Go Cette and Varix collided soon after the start checking Go Cette and Witch's Pick.  Varix and Koochie Koo collided on the first turn and again on the home turn.  Itsa Apple and Miss Dyjak collided entering the home straight.  Witch's Pick raced wide entering the home straight and again in the home straight.  Itsa Apple checked off Riversdale Cassie in the home straight.

Ice Train was quick to begin.  Turbo Jackson was slow to begin.  Leo McCormack, Bally Jakovich, Turbo Jackson and Osti's Moment collided on the first turn checking Turbo Jackson and Osti's Moment.  Leo McCormack and Bally Jakovich collided on the home turn.  Osti's Moment checked off Bally Jakovich entering the home straight causing Osti's Moment to race wide.  Turbo Jackson checked off Leo McCormack entering the home straight.  Bally Jakovich and Turbo Jackson collided in the home straight.

Kaboom Kaboom was slow to begin and crossed to the rail soon after the start.  Nitro Rocks, Kaboom Kaboom and Go Dorrie collided on the first turn.  Jettison checked off Swooped on the first turn causing Jettison to fall.  Bit Iffy and Why Not Radar collided several times in the home straight.

Kayfish was slow to begin.  Kayfish, Doc's Dora and Jersey Sky collided on the first turn checking Doc's Dora.  Kayfish and Lois's Angel collided approaching the home turn checking Lois's Angel, Jersey Sky, Gervon and Doc's Dora. 

Why Not Ryan and Hey Rex collided approaching the first turn.  Up And Gone and Wee Bella collided on the home turn.  Why Not Ryan, Sabrina Lopez, Iron Brian and Wee Bella raced wide in the home straight.

Mr. Fidget, Tudor Park, Claretown Oscar and Orange Jack were slow to begin.  Tudor Park checked off Claretown Oscar on the first turn.  Demonstrous checked off Audatious approaching the home turn.  Audatious, Dons Daughter and Mr. Fidget collided approaching the home turn checking Claretown Oscar and severely checking Dons Daughter which pulled up as a result.

Dons Daughter was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's left biceps muscle.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Demonstrous was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to it's left hind leg.  No stand down period was imposed.

Hard To Earn checked off Shiraz Reef approaching the first turn.  Reynard's King checked off Chief Tyson on the first turn checking Hard To Earn and Slick Jetta.  Reynard's King and Slick Jetta collided on the home turn.  Shiraz Reef raced wide entering the home straight.

Run Deano Run crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Sunset Diva, Proud Dancer and Soho Sweet Gal.  Splendid Shiraz, Pambi Rocks and Run Deano Run collided on the first turn checking Pambi Rocks.  Slipaway Mervyn and Soho Sweet Gal collided approaching the home turn checking Slipaway Mervyn and Proud Dancer.  Run Deano Run and Slipaway Mervyn collided on the home turn causing both greyhounds to race wide.  Slipaway Mervyn checked off Run Deano Run in the home straight.  Run Deano Run raced wide in the home straight.

Cardiac Arrest, Matty Moose and Chili Dipper collided on the first turn checking Chili Dipper.  Matty Moose checked off Benjamin's Cutie approaching the home turn checking Money To Burn, Cyclone Ruby, Chili Dipper, Miss Calypso and Odd Future.  Chili Dipper and Miss Calypso collided on the home turn checking Miss Calypso.  Cardiac Arrest and Benjamin's Cutie collided in the home straight.

Darley Cee Cee was slow to begin.  Why Not Beau, Erica Black and Amberly Queen collided on the first turn checking Erica Black and Just Call Me.  Erica Black and Go Rockin' Teddy collided on the first turn checking Go Rockin' Teddy.  Darley Cee Cee checked off Amberly Queen on the home turn causing Darley Cee Cee to race wide.  Demon Hunter and Just Call Me raced wide in the home straight.

Arvo's Ela was a late scratching at 3:20pm by order of stewards.  Stewards spoke to Mr. A. Marum, the trainer of Arvo's Ela regarding his presentation of the incorrect greyhound for this event.  Stewards charged Mr Marum under Rule 86(o) in that he was negligent in not ensuring the correct greyhound was presented for racing.  Mr Marum was fined the sum of $200.00.

Osti's Victory and Super Inferno were slow to begin.  Arvo's Viper checked off Kifinti on the first turn.  On The Game checked off Criminal Damage on the first turn.  Criminal Damage, Crystal Springs and Super Inferno collided approaching the home turn checking Criminal Damage and Super Inferno.  Super Inferno raced wide on the home turn.
