Burnsy's Ocker was slow to begin. Quick Blitz and Uno Baz collided soon after the start checking Uno Baz. Ripplebrook Jak contacted the running rail approaching the first turn. Ripplebrook Jak galloped on the heels of Quick Blitz on the first turn checking Ripplebrook Jak and severely checking Quick Blitz which stumbled and lost ground. Uno Baz checked off You're All Talk on the first turn. Uno Baz and Burnsy's Ocker collided on the home turn. You're All Talk and Uno Baz collided in the home straight.
Ripplebrook Jak was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hock, no stand down penalty was applied.
