Steward's Report

Let's Go Tenby was slow to begin.  Fire Fire and Apache Galo were quick to begin.  Oily and Miss Deception collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn, checking both greyhounds.  Ethical Sauce and Total Rebellion collided approaching the home turn, checking Ethical Sauce.  Let's Go Tenby, Total Rebellion and Oily collided in the home straight.  Fire Fire and Ravishing Ruth collided on the home turn and again in the home straight, checking both greyhounds.  Fire Fire eased approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr G Hall, the trainer of the greyhound Fire Fire.  Fire Fire was vetted and re-vetted following race 10.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right hock, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(5), the Stewards charged Fire Fire with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(6),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

A sample was taken from Miss Deception - the winner of the event.
