Steward's Report
A urine sample was taken from Choice Moment upon arrival at the course.
Mr. Holiday was quick to begin. Choice Moment was slow to begin.
Songkran (turned its head inwards in the home straight), underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg split webbing injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Adrian Nuttall regarding Songkran’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Songkran was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Nuttall pleaded guilty to the charge. Songkran must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
There was no head on vision in the back straight for this event.
