Steward's Report
Sunnyvale was slow out. Sisco Hero, Spitfire Shiraz and Island Treasure collided soon after the start. Sunnyvale, Where's Cleo, Sisco Hero, Spitfire Shiraz and Island Treasure collided approaching the 300mtr mark checking Sisco Hero and Spitfire Shiraz. Island Treasure faltered at the 250mtr mark and tailed off as a result.
Island Treasure was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left oblique and left triangle muscles, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke the the Veterinary Surgeon A. Kalinowski, who stated that the injuries sustained by Island Treasure in this event would account for the greyhound's performance.
