Russell after kennel staff working at the scales directed Mr Russell to attend the Stewards room so as to notify stewards that he did not present the weight card for the greyhound "Golden Token". Mr Russell failed to follow the direction given to him by kennel staff. Stewards spoke to Mr Russell, who advised that he had forgotten to come to the stewards room as he had gone to speak to the representatives from the Hunt and Gibbons kennels. Stewards reminded Mr Russell of his responsibilities when presenting a greyhound to compete and reprimanded Mr Russell as he did not follow directions given by the officials.
