Steward's Report
Glen Ian, Chiki Boss and Dyna Sheridan were slow out. Diana's Crown and Cosmic Ghost collided approaching the first turn. Diana's Crown, Cosmic Ghost and Groovy Chair collided on the first turn checking Cosmic Ghost. Glen Ian and Dyna Sheridan raced wide on the second turn. Diana's Crown and Groovy Chair collided on the second turn. Chiki Boss faltered on the third turn. Glen Ian, Groovy Chair and Dyna Sheridan collided on the home turn. Bomber Bugs and Pearlee Surprise collided entering the home straight.
Chiki Boss was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr M. Cowling, Trainer of Chiki Boss. Stewards deemed the performance of Chiki Boss unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 101, Stewards directed that Chiki Boss must perform a Satisfactory Trial, All Tracks, before any future nomination will be accepted.
