Dee Cee Tahalia was slow out. Lucas Flex crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Marois Jack and Sammy Boy. Highland's Lady, Neely Loveless and Dyna Conrod collided approaching the first turn. Dee Cee Tahalia, Highland's Lady, Neely Loveless and Dyna Conrod collided on the first turn checking Neely Loveless. Highland's Lady checked off the heels of Dyna Conrod approaching the second turn. Sammy Boy and Marois Jack collided approaching the second turn checking Sammy Boy. Dee Cee Tahalia and Marois Jack collided approaching the home turn.
