Steward's Report
Starriffic was slow out and collided with Tuqiri soon after the start. Cynthia Bale, Major Glory, Tuqiri, Ambria Flex and Lansley Princess collided approaching the first turn checking Ambria Flex and Lansley Princess. Cynthia Bale and Ambria Flex collided on the first turn. Cynthia Bale, Ambria Flex and Lansley Princess collided approaching the second turn checking Cynthia Bale and Lansley Princess. Ambria Flex brushed the running rail on the second turn. Ambria Flex and Lansley Princess collided entering the back straight and again on the third turn.
Ambria Flex was vetted following the Event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right shoulder. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Bell, the Stewards will stand Ambria Flex down from competing for 5 days.
Subsequent to the Event, Spiritual Rumble (weight 25.8kgs) trialled over 525 metres starting from Box 4. The sectional times recorded by the Judge were as follows: 5.20: 18.04: 30.29.
